Ritzville golfers compete in non-league match

The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague golf team had one match cancelled last week due to weather but were able to compete in a non-league match in St. John on March 24.

In the boys division Colfax, Pomeroy, Dayton, Odessa-Harrington, Tekoa-Rosalia, St. John and LRS were all present. Colfax took the boys medal during this match.

Michael Shields earned 41 strokes followed by Ryan Frederick with 50, Morgan Brausen with 51 and Pake Taylor put up 58 strokes.

For the girls division only LRS, Dayton, St. John, Tekoa-Rosalia and Colfax were present and Colfax earned the girls medal.

Morgan Lane golfed a 63 followed by Mickayla Hall and Kierstin Witt both with 89.

The Broncos golfers hosted a League Match on March 29 prior to Spring Break.
