Eastern Adams County's Only Independent Voice Since 1887
Lind-Ritzville High School Senior Wyatt Roettger competed in the 2016 Washington Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Association (WIBCA) All-State basketball game on Saturday, March 19.
Roettger was one of 10 athletes in the 2B division invited to compete in the All-State game.
The game occurred at Mountlake Terrace High School where the 2B team members took on the 1B team at 2 p.m.
After the conclusion of the 1B/2B match up, two additional games occurred for athletes in the larger school divisions in the state.
The WIBCA All-State games have showcased high school basketball athletes for over 40 years.
All the players who participate in the All-State games have been selected from throughout the state by WIBCA member high school coaches.
Roettger played a key role in helping the Lind-Ritzville/Sprague Broncos earn a trip to the 2B Hardwood Classic this season. Together with his teammates, the Broncos secured a fifth place finish in state.
