Michael, Linda Schrag scholarship awarded to first recipient

In March 2015 Mike Schrag joined the Washington Wheat Foundation board and created a $1,000 scholarship, the Michael and Linda Schrag Agriculture Education Scholarship endowment.

This scholarship is available to junior and seniors at Washington State University (WSU) who hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above and have declared agriculture education as their major.

The Schrag’s chose to give first priority to those students who meet the above criteria and also graduated from the Lind-Ritzville school district.
