Income survey mailed to Ritzville residents

The City of Ritzville will be distributing an income survey to the approximate 800 residents within the service area of the City’s utilities.

The purpose of the survey is to establish the percentage of low to moderate income levels within the city. These levels are required for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application.

The City has invested money into the research of the back up in the sewer lines, which occurs on Columbia Street near Pete’s lift station.

The pipes do not have the capacity needed and can often times become blocked when Pete’s lift station is in use.
