CBF announces grant availability

Columbia Basin Foundation (CBF) would like to remind local nonprofits in Grant, Adams and western Lincoln Counties of the deadline for the 2016 grant cycle.

The five grant opportunities available are: Alvar and Louise Swanson Greater Community Grant, Erle and Helen Sola Community Grant, Ferne Daniel (Animal Program) Grant, Ferne Daniel (Youth Program) Grant, and the Women and Childrens’ Fund Grant.

Applicant organizations must be a 501(c)(3) or an organization that is a fiscal sponsorship of a 501(c)(3) organization, a school, a municipality, county or any organization, which has IRS tax exempt status.

CBF will only fund special projects or programs and not regular operating costs, or religious or political programs.

Deadline for the applications to be received is 5 p.m. on March 31.

The office is located at 234 First Avenue NW, Suite B, Ephrata, Washington. A drop slot is located to the left of the door if the office is closed during business or after hours.
