Support group for grandparents raising children

Aging & Adult Care of Central Washington (AACCW) has started a support group for grandparents and relatives raising children living in Adams, Chelan, Douglas, Grant, Lincoln and Okanogan counties.

Residents are encouraged to join with others in seeking to provide a stable, nurturing environment for those raising children, who have come into their family due to a loss or absence of the parents.

Future monthly meetings, dates, times and locations will be scheduled based upon preference of those attending.

AACCW is hosting a meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 10, from 12-1 p.m. at Aging & Adult Care of Central Washington located at 50 Simon Street S.E., Suite A East Wenatchee.
