The young LaCrosse-Washtucna/Kahlotus Lady Tigercats squad hit the hardwood last week to begin league competition. The team started against Liberty Christian, before facing the seven-time consecutive state champions, the Colton Wildcats.
The LWK team started out strong against Liberty Christian in Kahlotus on Dec. 11 by putting the first points on the board, but the Lady Patriots quickly pulled away. The Liberty Christian team would continue to dominate the court and the Lady Tigercats faced a 68-21 loss in their first league game.
