Marvin Louis Miller

Marvin Louis Miller, 88, died on Nov. 26 at From the Heart in Pasco.

He was born on Oct. 6, 1927, the fifth of nine children, to Alta (Odgers) Miller and Shirley R. Miller at the family home in Davenport.

In December 1932, the family moved to Connell, where his dad operated a grocery store. Louie attended school in Connell and was manager of the sports team in high school. He graduated from Connell High in 1945 and soon joined the Merchant Marines. At World War II’s end he returned to Connell and worked odd jobs until moving to Coquille, Oregon, where he worked in the plywood mill.
