Lind Town Council approves 2016 budget

After two Public Hearings, the Lind Town Council approved the 2016 budget for the Town of Lind on Tuesday, Dec. 8.

For the year of 2015 the budget expected $212,773.85 in revenue and for 2016 their expected revenue is set at $268,880.

This is mostly due to the beginning cash, which is roughly $45,000 more than in 2015 and because of the taxes for the city, which will bring in over $10,000 more than the year prior.

The airport fund for the town will have $6,500 for the fiscal year of 2016 compared to the $15,628 that was anticipated in 2015.
