Lady Broncos season begins with a nail-biter

Last weekend marked the beginning of another Lady Broncos basketball season with a nonleague game versus Columbia-Burbank.

The Lady Broncos fought hard the entire game against the Lady Coyotes but ultimately lost 47-48.

This game held many insights for the team though. Their new head coach, Gary Kelly, was able to see how his new team held up against frustration.

With a close score he said his team was, “down by eight but they held their composure and made a big comeback.”

The first quarter ended with the Lady Broncos leading 14-9 and by halftime, they were up by one point 23-22.
