Small flock competes in annual Turkey Trot

The 2015 Turkey Trot was smaller in number due to the elements but strong in commitment with most heads and faces covered to brace the cold. The Trot, at 8:30 Thanksgiving morning, follows the three-mile circuit of the Ritzville Path.

First in to pick up her Fastest Trotter award was Kylie Fullmer. Fullmer now holds a two-year speedy bird record.

The Trotter from Afar award went to Stephany Steinberger. She traveled a thousand miles from Donnybrook, North Dakota to share in the Trot with her youngest brother, Shawn Steinberger of Ritzville. Shawn received recognition as the Youngest Trotter.
