The LaCrosse Schools will be hosting a robotics day at the school on Saturday, Dec. 5.
Students and parents from across the region are invited to attend a hands on day where they will get to “play” with, build and control such things as tactical law enforcement robots, drones, LEGObots and biobots.
There may also be opportunities to observe 3-D printers, coding and programming as well as other aspects of Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education.
The STEM event is co-sponsored by the LaCrosse LEGO robotics team and the Washington State University robotics club. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
People are invited to come for the whole time, or just drop in as their schedules allow. The LaCrosse robotics club will offer concessions.
