Way, Cole married in Oregon

Melaina, daughter of Kevin and J’Leane Cole of Portland, Oregon, became the bride of Michael Way, son of James and LaRae Way, of Ritzville on July 11, 2015 at Ecola St. Park in Oregon.

The ceremony was officiated by Reverend Lauren Worcester of Universal Life Church.

The bride was escorted down the isle and given away by her parents. She wore a white satin, tea length dress with a full skirt and carried an anemone paper bouquet.

The groom was attired in a black suit with a white rose boutonniere.

Following the ceremony there were receptions held in Spokane on July 19 and in Portland on Aug. 8.

Melaina went to Gonzaga University and received her degree in Teaching Special Education. She is currently employed at Sacajawea Middle School.

Kevin graduated from Ritzville High School and attended Spokane Community College where he received a degree in Criminal Justice. He is employed by the Spokane School District as an IT Tech.

The couple will make their home in Spokane.

In attendance were the bride and grooms parents, the bride’s brother, grandparents and aunt and uncle.
