Ritzville Glass to close its doors

Larry G. Sackman, owner of Ritzville Glass, has made the decision to retire.

He said in regards to the subject, “Retirement, it’s something we all look forward to, but when it is time, it’s hard to let go. After much thought and careful consideration, I have decided it is time to retire and enjoy the simpler things in life.”

Ritzville Glass has been serving the Ritzville area for the past 15 years. Now that it is time for Sackman to retire, Ritzville Glass will be closing its doors.

“I would like to say thank you for your support over the past 15 years; it is because of your support, that the small businesses succeed.” Sackman stated.

His hope for retirement is to allow another business to fill in the void and that the community will support them as they did him.

Sackman has spoken with Five Mile Glass, in Spokane, and they stated they would try to accommodate Ritzville’s needs.

Their service includes residential and commercial windows, shower doors and tractor cabs. However, their service does not include auto glass.
