Volunteers of the Year recognized

A meeting of the Ritzville Museum Volunteers was held at the Burroughs Home on Oct. 13. At this meeting two volunteers were inducted into the Hall of Fame and the Volunteer of the Year award was presented.

The volunteers assist in taking care of two museums within Ritzville, the Burroughs’ Home and the NP Railroad Depot Museum.

Marge Schoessler was named the Volunteer of the Year for her consistency in volunteering for the museums in the past several years.

Schoessler makes a point to attend the opening day gatherings and always signs up to cover days each month that the museums are open.
