Adams County Fire District 1, Position 1 Candidates: J.C. Harder II

J.C. Harder II is running to become a commissioner for Fire District 1.

This position will be listed as Fire District 1 Position 1 on the upcoming Nov. 3 General Election ballot. Fire District 1 Position 1 is a nonpartisan office for a six-year term.

Harder, 54, is a self-employed rancher with two children, Jacob and Renae.

He has decided to run because the current commissioner, Jacob Harder, his father, stepped down from the position.
