Davida M. Hille

Davida M. Hille, 85, died Tuesday, Sept. 29, at home in Washtucna.

She was born May 18, 1930 in Ritzville to David Dirks and Lydia (Kagele) Dirks.

Davida graduated Ritzville High School in 1948 and married Eugene N. Hille in Ritzville, May 14, 1950.

She worked at the Ritzville Hospital, Rummer’s Clothing Store, McGregor’s General Store in Hooper and her brother Tony’s grocery store in Washtucna.

Davida was a lifelong farmer’s wife who sold Tupperware and Avon for many years.

She was a longtime member of the Washtucna School Board and Washtucna City Council. She was a member and trustee at the Washtucna Community Church.

Davida was an artist who enjoyed painting, crocheting, quilting, sewing and making jewelry.

Davida was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Hille.

Surviving are her son: Kirk Hille (Connie); daughters: Kristin Nesheim (Steve), Pamela Brown (Darryl) and Colleen Blauert; grandchildren: Monique Lambert (Andrew), Jeffrey Henao (Monica), Jason Hodskins (Angie), Jeromy Hodskins (Claudia), Kendra Munoz, Keaton Hille (Pauline), Blaine Hille (Nicole) and Garrett Blauert; great grandchildren: Elise Rapuzzi, Ayanna Henao, Tobin and Kaylee Hodskins, Taylor, Kendall and Jordon Hughes, Nolan Hodskins and Madison Hille.

Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 9, from 12 to 5:00 p.m. at Danekas Funeral Home-Ritzville.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, Oct. 10, at 11:30 a.m. at Washtucna Community Church with burial to follow at Pioneer Cemetery in Washtucna.
