Welcoming new teachers to local schools: Lind-Ritzville Cooperative School District - Katie Graffis

Katie Graffis is another new first grade teacher for Ritzville Grade School. With the amount of first grade aged students in the area there are currently two first grade teachers.

She is from the Tekoa area but moved to Ritzville to accept the new teaching position.

She is looking forward to becoming a part of the Ritzville community, the school and helping each of her students grow as learners.

Graffis graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2015 with a reading major and mathematics minor in Elementary Education.

In her free time Graffis enjoys watching her nieces play sports, spending time with her family and reading.
