Justin Palmer is splitting his year between Lind-Ritzville Middle School and Lind-Ritzville High School.
At LRMS Palmer will be teaching Metal Art/Computer-aided Design and Welding and Carpentry. For the high school Palmer will be teaching Shop, Food Science and Agriculture, and Food and Natural Resources.
Palmer was born in Othello but moved to Lind where he graduated from high school. He now lives outside of Lind with his family.
Palmer and his wife Sandee have two and a half year old twin boys, Jace and Wade.
Palmer attended Washington State University where he received his Bachelor of Science and Master’s in Agriculture in 2002.
Palmer is looking forward to getting to know the students and the community. He enjoys building projects with his students so he is looking forward to becoming more familiar with the shops so he can make that happen.
His plan for the year is to have classes his students can be engaged in by providing a lot of hands on learning.
When Palmer is out of the classroom he enjoys riding horses, leather working, hunting and raising livestock.
Palmer can be contacted at 659-1720 or 677-3408.
