Lacy Nichols is the new Special Education teacher for the Washtucna School District. She is from the Starbuck/Dayton area amd currently lives in Starbuck with her husband and son.
Nichols graduated from Washington State University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education along with a Special Education Endorsement.
Nichols will be teaching kindergarten through 12th grade Special Education courses. She is most, “looking forward to getting to know her students, their families and the Washtucna Community.”
She additionally looks forward to being a part of the “wonderful staff here at Washtucna School District.”
Her husband Jeremy has grandparents named Bob and Velma Sickles who used to operate an insurance business in Washtucna so she has ties to the area as well.
When Nichols isn’t teaching she can be found spending time with her family, outdoors and taking photos. She has a child named Josiah who “is soon to be three years old with a lot of energy” which occupies her time as well.
