Kathryn (Ferderer) Lindell, 65, died on July 27th at home in Medical Lake.
Kathy was born on January 17 1950 in Ritzville to parents Henry and Erma Ferderer. She graduated from Ritzville High School in 1968 and continued on to college earning a degree in Nursing from Big Bend Community College. She then moved to Spokane and accepted a position as an LPN at Deaconess Hospital where she worked for more than 40 years.
Kathy married Jack Lindell Jr. in 1974 and the couple had three children. She loved being a mother and a grandmother. She gave her entire life to caring for them up until her passing.
She enjoyed gambling at the casino, attending family gatherings, with such a large family there was always much catching up to do. She also loved hanging out with her grand children. Her family and friends will always remember her as a loving, caring, giving woman with a smile that could melt your heart.
Kathy is survived by two daughters, one son and eight loving grand children. Darcie Lindell and Bobby of Medical Lake (Bryan Rose, Dylan Yarnell, Ethan Yarnell), Jack Lindell III and Bryn of Spokane (Jessica Pack, Jack Lindell IV, Rebecca Lindell, Jayson Lindell and Lincoln Lindell), Tami Lindell and Brandon of Medical Lake, Jack Lindell Jr. of Cheney (Jacob, Savana), brother Ken and Berni Ferderer of Loon Lake, many nieces and nephews, Ron and Melinda Ferderer (Sarah/great niece Parker, Shane, Mathias and Meisa) of Ritzville, Lori and Jason St. Marie (Britney and Travis St. Marie) of Ritzville, Mike and Tina Ferderer of Colbert, Mike Stone, Dee and Jarod Niles (Andy, Logan and JT) of Monroe, Tanya and Conrad Stott (Casey, Colton and Damon) of Cheyenne, second father, Raymond Spencer of Spokane.
She was preceded in death by her mother Erma Ferderer-Spencer of Ritzville and father Henry Ferderer of Ritzville and many aunts and uncles.
A funeral is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 12, 1:30 p.m. in Ritzville at the Emanuel Lutheran Church, 206 S. Division, with Pastor Bob officiating. A reception will follow.
