Don Rawlings

Don Rawlings a member of the Ritzville community for such a short time, but left a big imprint on it and it’s people.

Husband of Dede Rawlings, married just last August at the Ritzville Foursquare Church, of which he became a member.

Don was a volunteer at both the local food bank, and the Soul Cafe, he was often seen walking their three dogs towards the fairgrounds.

He touched many lives in the short time he was here.

Don went back to Denver to visit his children, where he was diagnosed with cancer, succumbing to it in a few short weeks.

He is survived by his son Johnathan (Darlene) Rawlings, of Denver, Colorado, and a daughter Melissa (Dan) Fonte and their two sons, Travis, 10, and Vince, 8, in Discovery Bay, California.

He will be sorely missed.

He would have been 81 September 6.

There will be a memorial service this Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the Ritzville Foursquare Church.
