Donations being collected for fire victims, firefighters

Ritzville Rodeo Queen Haley Oestreich is beginning to collect donation items for fire victims and firefighters battling the wildfire diaster in Washington.

Oestreich is asking for items such as nonperishable food, water, hygiene products, and clothing.

She will be working on creating a more expansive list after she makes contact with an evacuation center or the Red Cross.

Drop off locations for donations are Bob’s Chevron, The Hair Center, Ritzville Drug Company, Umpqua Bank, Cow Creek Mercantile and The Ritzville Journal....
