Local heroes deserve thanks

What a great country we have, when volunteer Firemen and others, put in time together to control a strong wind driven fire.

This is what happened last Friday as an accident on 395 started a fire that had the potential of moving to my farmstead.

Firefighters came from Lind, Ritzville, Othello, Connell, Warden and Washtucna.

Ryan Kuch worked for hours with a tractor and disc.
