Gary Calvin Miller, 68, died at home on Friday, July 24.
Gary was born in Ritzville on September 21st, 1946 to Calvin and Lorraine (Tompkins) Miller, and was a lifelong resident of Ritzville.
After graduating from Ritzville High School in 1964, he attended Columbia Basin Community College in Kennewick.
In 1967, Gary married Linda Lee Frost and had two children. In 1978, he married Donna Anglin and added four more children to his clan.
Gary worked very hard to provide for his big family. He was employed for many years as an Engineer with the Adams County Public Works Department, and later for the United States Post Office in Ritzville, retiring from there in 2011.
Gary was passionate about the Cubs and Mariners Baseball, football trivia, horses, traveling, fishing, hunting and taking care of the ranch.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Miller at the home; daughters Sheila (Ted) Harris of Irrigon, Oregon; Shannon (Bruce) Sweet of Spokane; Marci (Richard) Colton of Spokane; sons Jason Miller of Umatilla, Oregon, Bill Anglin of Spokane Valley; Brothers Ken (Sandi) Miller of Ritzville, and Mark (Danielle) Miller of Ritzville. He has eighteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Loraine Miller, and son Kerry Tyler.
A memorial will be held on August 8, 2 p.m. at the Ritzville Eagles.
