Important Fair Deadlines, reminders for Wheat Land Communities Fair

With the Wheat Land Communities’ Fair nearing there are important reminders and deadlines to be met regarding the annual event. The annual fair runs from Sept. 3-6.

4-H Record books are due to the WSU Extension Office by 4:15 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 14.

The WSU Extension Office is located at 205 West Main Avenue in Ritzville.

All animal entry forms, along with the exhibitor’s code of ethics, are due by Aug. 15.

There will be a meeting for all superintendents on Sunday, Aug. 16, at 2:00 p.m. in the Knuth Building.

The fair is seeking volunteers to assist with grounds work and to set up youth activity stations for Ag Olympics.
