Health concerns regarding flies in Lind area

I am writing about the influx of flies originating from National Foods chicken ranch and/or the Perfect Blend Plant (which processes chicken manure for fertilizer) near Othello.

The fly infestation hits the town of Lind and the surrounding areas with remarkable punctuality, visiting us at least 4-5 times a year. Our earliest infestation occurred in February of this year. I didn’t even know flies were active at this time of the year. The flies are unbearable.
