Throw Back Tuesday

I watched the early parts of the Major League All-Star game last Tuesday. All of the fanfare is quite enjoyable.

During the introductions it was fun to see who the home town Cincinnati fans have a true dislike for, and it turns out to be anyone wearing a St. Louis Cardinals uniform. Even former Cardinal Albert Pujols heard a few jeers. That happens.

Of all of the all-star games this one has always been competitive. Football, basketball and hockey usually lack any semblance of defense since no one wants to get injured.

Baseball has that pride factor as pitchers don’t want hitters to get on base...
