Maintenance, operation levies on Primary Election ballot

Lind, Ritzville and Washtucna Park and Recreation Districts have submitted annual maintenance and operation (M&O) levies for the Primary Election. Ballots are being sent to voters on July 17 for the Primary Election with all ballots to be returned no later than August 4.

The Adams County Park and Recreation District No. 1 in Ritzville has adopted a resolution proposing a ballot measure for a special property tax of $120,000. The amount is an increase of $30,000 from previous years and equals $.35 per one thousand dollars of assessed valuation in 2015.
