Washtucna Cemetery appreciates support

As we get close to the August election the Washtucna Pioneer Cemetery Board would like to thank the community for their continued, unwavering support of the cemetery.

We rely heavily on levy dollars to maintain and operate the cemetery. Last year we raised our plot rates to $500. This will help with our funding, however we want the community to realize that we typically only sell a handful of plots per year. We have decided to increase our plot rate to $800 effective January 1, 2016. This rate will be more in line with what other local cemeteries charge, and will again help with our funding.
