Three-day candidate filing

Multiple offices in Adams County did not receive filings during candidate filing week. The Adams County Elections Department has scheduled a three-day candidate filing period for those positions from July 13-15.

The positions in Benge available for filing are the Benge School District 122 Director Position No. 1 and Director Position No. 2. The Town of Hatton has two council position vacancies for the Council Positions No. 2 and No. 4.

In the Town of Washtucna, Council Position No. 2 and No. 3 are currently vacant.

The Park and Recreation No. 3 in Lind has an opening for the Commissioner Position No. 1. The Ritzville Park and Recreation No. 4 also has a vacancy for Commissioner Position No. 1.

In Othello, there are vacancies for the Park and Recreation No. 1, Cemetery District No. 2 and Water District No. 1.
