Aldrich receives PEO Star Scholarship

Lind-Ritzville High School Senior Sara Aldrich is the recipient of the prestigious PEO Star Scholarship for the 2015-2016 academic year. Karen Baumann, president of the chapter, presented Aldrich with the scholarship in Gilson Gymnasium on June 6.

Aldrich is the daughter of Jennifer and Jason Aldrich and received recommendation for the scholarship. Aldrich has been accepted and is attending Hamilton College where she plans to study neuroscience this fall.

The PEO Star Scholarship is a $2,500 scholarship based on excellence in leadership, extracurricular activities, community service, academics and potential for future success. The program is open to young women who are citizens or legal permanent residents of the United States or Canada and who are graduating high school seniors at the time of application. A PEO chapter must recommend a student.
