An amazing city, Ritzville is!

Once again this community came together to help support an amazing gal, Joanne Sipe, aka; JoJo.

As you have heard, JoJo has terminal cancer at the young age of 28. She has two young children and a fiancé that are at home with her. Many family and friends are attending to JoJo’s comfort in her final days.

Your local Ritzville Eagles Club #2739 put on a Benefit for JoJo.....the attendance was super, the meal was yummy, the auction was fantastic all due to the tremendous generosity of YOU, our Ritzville community.

It never ceases to amaze me how everyone will come together when asked to help someone in need.

So far, $10,012.00 has been raised for JoJo’s continued support through her difficult days ahead. As the auction tallies were read and the Live Auction was going on, JoJo’s family could not hold back their tears of joy and love, and their amazement of all the generosity of this community.

There is still money coming in and a final total will be given at a later date.

These funds raised will insure that JoJo and her family will have a roof over their head, food on the table, utilities paid for, as- sistance with medical bills, and the two children cared for, in the months ahead, while the family deals with life altering decisions.

Many, many thanks are due to everyone that volunteered and helped with set up and serving, to Mike Telecky for cooking the ribs, to everyone that brought salads and desserts, all the donors of auction items, including pies & cake, all bidders/ winners on auction items, both silent and live and to Don Hutsell for stepping up to be our auctioneer. You did a super job, Don, as usual!

All of you can give yourselves a pat on the back for being who you are, loving and caring.... my heart is full of PRIDE when I say I live in Ritzville, Wash.
