Lincoln-Adams 4-H Leaders Councils are proud to announce the recipients of the 2015 Lincoln-Adams 4-H Scholarships. Trevor King, a 10-year member of the Odessa Jr Livestock 4-H Club and Kate Schell, 9-year member of the Ritzville Livestock and Ritzville Saddlewarmers 4-H Clubs will each receive $500 scholarships toward their future educations.
Kate is graduating from Lind/Ritzville High School with plans to pursue a career in dentistry. She has participated in livestock 4-H with market steers, learned public speaking and leadership and most recently served as Ritzville Rodeo Queen. Her parents are Colby and Aimee Schell.
Lincoln-Adams 4-H Scholarships are awarded with consideration of the participation in 4-H as well as awards., leadership positions and community service with points added for those same fields outside of 4-H activities. Funds are raised for the scholarship through donations plus the Lincoln County 4-H Silent Auction at the Fair. All Lincoln-Adams 4-H members that are juniors or seniors are qualified to apply.
