Community unites to raise $10,000 for Sipe

The benefit dinner held at the Eagles Saturday, May 30, for local resident Joanne “JoJo” Sipe, helped raise over $10,000 for the mother of two, battling her second round of cancer.

The event brought community members together to support one of their own, and the purchase of meal tickets alone raised $500.

The Eagles Auxiliary members presented a check to Sipe for $10,622 on Monday, June 8.

Sipe stated she never expected so much financial support from her community. She and her family are forever grateful for the continuous love and support.
