Disaster preparedness, topic of Chamber meeting

The Ritzville Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a general membership meeting at noon on Wednesday, June 10, at Soup It Up.

Ritzville Fire Chief Jim Bostic is the guest speaker for the event, and will be mediating a discussion regarding disaster response resource and preparedness in Ritzville.

Bostic is hoping to begin the discussion between emergency responders, agencies, business owners and individuals about the appropriate course of action in a potential disaster. The Chamber is inviting locals to attend in order to start mediation about what disasters are plausible and what to do in those situations.

The meeting is open to the public and all are invited to attend to participate in the discussion.
