Sheriff Hunt confronts judge on pending trial

Below is an email that was sent from Judge Brueher to the Adams County Prosecutor Randy Flyckt, and the Othello Chief of Police on March 19th, 2015 (This was however an Adams County arrest).

Dear Randy,

Mr. Quiroz is and has been in custody since November 25, 2014. He was transferred from the Adams County jail to the Toppenish jail on March 6, 2015. To date he has served some 114 days.

He does have an extensive alcohol related driving record - 2 DUI’s in 2008, 1 in 2009. He is serving 177 days on those charges. The current charge resulted from a stop on November 25, 2014.
