Eastern Adams County's Only Independent Voice Since 1887
The Adams County Development Council, Grant County Development Council and WSU Extension are sponsoring a Rural Pathways to Prosperity Conference on April 17.
The conference is geared toward providing attendees with a day of learning about regional networking to create jobs, improving local economy, adding value to existing rural businesses, encouraging new entrepreneurs and engaging with a national expert.
Twenty sites across rural Washington will watch Erik Pages on a webinar with the opportunity to ask questions.
After his presentation, each site will put his ideas into action through organized activities, turning their attention to local issues, resources and project ideas.
The conference is from 8 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the Othello Community Hospital Conference Room. The registration fee is $30, with a $25 early bird special between March 5 and April 10.
