Washtucna students perform at convention

Two Washtucna students had the opportunity to travel to Spokane to perform at the Northwest Music Educators Convention.

Rhianna Conn, a soprano, sang with the Washington All-State Youth Honors Chorus at the INB Performing Arts Center on Feb. 14. Gail Harder played the French horn on Feb. 15 at the Fox Theatre with the All-Northwest Wind Symphony.

Both of the students auditioned for their roles within the groups. The All-Northwest Wind Symphony includes students from Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Montana, Wyoming and Alaska.
