Economic growth primary focus for new county manager

With the departure of Grace Shelby as the director, the Adams County Development Council (ACDC) began their search for a replacement last fall.

The ACDC faced a problem, however, of not being able to offer a salary that would be competitive as a director so the position was reorganized, to work more closely with Adams County Economic Director Stephen McFadden.

The ACDC filled the position of Manager and Business and Marketing Specialist with Joey Hanson, with Dec. 1, 2014, being her first day on the job.
