A page has been turned

A few weeks ago I received a text that merely said, “Vernon Adams is going to the Oregon Ducks!”

I could only answer with, “Nooooo!”

I thought there was a chance Adams would stay at EWU to do everything he could to bring another National Championship to the Cheney campus. But the more I thought about it I was pretty sure that he had played his last down for the Eagles.

I believe that he started thinking about his chances to play at the next level and his best shot was to play at a place that is receiving a ton of exposure, and the Ducks have been getting a lot of that.
