Hay Growers Association annual meeting at BBCC on Feb. 18

The Mid-Columbia Basin Hay Growers Association Annual Meeting will be held Wednesday, Feb. 18, from 8 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. at Big Bend Community College, ATEC Building 1800.

Lunch will be served and is included in the registration fee of $15. Topics include: Smart Phone Apps to Improve Weed Control, Using RR Soybeans for Weed Control in Timothy Fields, Pest Considerations Under High Residue Farming, Using Drones in Crop Production, Controlling Late Season Broadleaf Weeds in Alfalfa and In Season Timothy Nitrogen Management Using the SPAD Meter.

There will be a trade show including farm equipment and farm supply vendors.
