Hospital construction slows while waiting for approvals

The construction in and around East Adams Rural Hospital has slowed considerably as project managers wait for approvals and continuances from officials.

Apollo Construction remains actively working on the electrical switchboards and components surrounding the switchboards while the remainder of the projects are at a current standstill.

CEO/CFO Gary Bostrom said they are currently waiting on word from the Department of Health to see if the project has received an extension for the deadline when the hospital needs to meet the fire and life safety criteria previously cited at the facility.
