Broncos’ wrestlers hit halfway point in season

On Jan. 10 five athletes from the Broncos wrestling team made the trek to compete in the Springdale Tournament.

The team was short a few athletes, with one injured, another out after having their tonsils removed and with some athletes ineligible to participate because of grades.

Josh Yow wrestled in the 145-pound bracket at the tournament.

His first opponent was from Rainier. The match was very close, in the second round Yow went to turn his opponent but went too high. The Rainier athlete was able to reverse onto Yow and pin him.
