Local LRHS Student Preparing for Global Travels

There are many ways for LRHS students to practice citizenship locally.

Regionally, there are many opportunities as well. Global projects, like the People to People Ambassador program, offer students opportunities for service and adventure simultaneously.

LRHS freshman Alisha Baker will be traveling to Australia, Fiji and New Zealand this summer on a 22-day trip.

Through the People to People Ambassador Program, she will increase her exposure to other cultures and gain leadership experiences that will help her succeed in her future academic career.
