PATROL CAR

PATROL CAR. At the annual convention of the Internation Association of Chiefs of Police, WSP Trooper Tyler Fryberger drew the winning key for the Washington State Patrol to receive a new patrol car. Fryberger volunteered to drive the car back from the convention in Florida, with his wife Rita joining him on the trip. The highlight of the return trip for Fryberger was stopping to see his father in Montana and being able to show him the patrol car, something he has always wanted to do. The vehicle was kept in Ritzville until Fryberger turned it over to the state office prior to his retirement. -Journal photo by Katelin Davidson
