Local churches celebrate the holiday season

Area churches are hosting special Christmas services to celebrate the holiday season.

Saint John’s Lutheran Church will be caroling at the Rose Garden Estates at 2 p.m. and at the Life Care Center at 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 21.

In addition to the caroling the church will be hosting a candlelight service on Dec. 24 starting at 6 p.m.

The Good Hope Lutheran Church in Lind is hosting its Community Christmas Eve Candlelight Service on Dec. 24 as well, starting at 6 p.m.

The Lind Community Church offers its own candlelight service at 4 p.m. on Dec. 24 also.

At 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 24 the Menno Mennonite Church is inviting community members to participate in their Christmas Eve Service.

The Emanual Lutheran Church in Ritzville is also hosting a candlelight service on Christmas Eve. It begins at 7 p.m.

The Ritzville Nazarene Church is also hosting a Candlelight Christmas Eve Service on Dec. 24, at 7 p.m.

The Zion Philadelphia UCC hosts two Christmas Eve Candlelight services this year. The first service begins at 6 p.m. and feature music from the choir and Mary Anna Repogle. The second service begins at 11:30 p.m. and ends at midnight with the ringing of the church bell and the singing of “Stille Nacht.”
