Alma Celia (Scott) Galbreath

Alma Celia (Scott) Galbreath was born July 29, 1914, to Daniel and Alma Scott of Ritzville. Following a short illness, she died Friday, December 5, at the Ritzville Hospital. Alma was the fifth of six children and enjoyed the camaraderie of a large family and the joys of rural life.

Through her father’s political life the family had many opportunities to be involved as Washington State was coming into it’s own. She grew up learning the value of chores, skills of horsemanship and proper etiquette.
