Lloyd V. Tebow

Lloyd V. Tebow, 94, died Dec. 2, in his home in Odessa. Lloyd was born on March 15, 1920 in Lamont, Oklahoma, to Karl and Edith Tebow.

Lloyd graduated from high school then he joined the US Army Air Corp. Lloyd married Marjorie Groh on November 16, in Odessa.

Lloyd is survived by his wife of 62 yrs Marjorie, five children Douglas (Joanne) Tebow, Sheryl (Donald) Dirks, Janell (Toby) Lobe, Diane (Alan) Voise and Barb (Jeff) Greenwalt. He also has 13 grandchildren Kyle, Nick and Danielle Tebow, Ashley (Kyle) Vinneau, Adam (Sara) Dirks, Lindsey (Brian) Haguewood, Trey Lobe, Kodey Lobe, Heath Voise, Mahki (Eddy) Carroll, Brooke (Kyler) Lovgren, Colby and Tyler Greenwalt, six great grandchildren Shaye Dirks, Makinley and Haysley Haguewood, Lincoln and Kylie Lovgren and Taryen Carroll. Lloyds’s two brothers Dwaine Tebow and Rex Tebow and his sister Lois Parks along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his brother in law Blaine Parks and sister in law Chelora Tebow.

He is a member of the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Odessa VFW, Former Odessa City Council, he was the owner of the Chevron Service Station from 1965-1967, Odessa Grange Fertilizer Manager 1967-1969, Odessa Grange shop foreman mechanic 1969-1977, Odessa Trading Company (tractor & combine mechanic) 1977-1985 and a wheat farmer 1975-1995.

In his retirement, Lloyd was an avid Bloomsday walker.

He was also a member of the veterans honor flight in September 2011.

A rosary service will be held on Wednesday, December 10, at 6 p.m. at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Odessa.

Funeral Mass, Thursday, December 11, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Kenneth St. Hilaire, officiating.

Interment at the Odessa Cemetery, Odessa. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Odessa, or Odessa Memorial Health Care Center, Odessa.
