On Nov. 27, around 50 community members and families gathered in front of the Ritz Theatre for the annual Turkey Trot.
The morning’s event began with the presenting of awards.
The Most Colorful Trotter award was given to Morgan and Natalie Wade of Ritzville who dressed as turkeys for the race.
The Youngest Trotter was presented to Baxter Moore and the Silver Feather Award for the oldest trotter was given to Dave and Sally Powers.
Howard Reimer received a bag of sunflower seeds as his trophy for the Seediest Participant award.
